Typically when I am paying for my groceries, I will tell the checker that I started a non-profit, and their store has supported it--with thanks--but without mentioning the name of the organization. Recently, there was a conference in Redmond, Washington, for foster and adoptive parents. Over eight hundred attended. People came from Texas, Tennessee, Colorado, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, California and Washington. It was a fantastic resource of encouragement and equipping for all who attended. It was announced there that this summer, there will be a summer camp of similar theme at Refreshed Families Foster and Adoptive Family Camp on July 27-30, 2014.
